2 killed in motorcycle crash near Kersey identified by Weld County Coroner’s Office – Greeley Tribune


The Weld County Coroner’s Office identified a 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman as the victims of a motorcycle crash on March 27 east of Kersey.
About 9:30 p.m., a motorcyclist heading east on U.S. 34 near mile marker 129 collided with a tactor trailer, the coroner’s office reported. The motorcycle driver, Nash Westen Riter of Brush, and his passenger, Dakoda Kaye Prevost of Fort Morgan, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Colorado State Patrol is leading an ongoing investigation into the crash.
The final cause and manner of death for both Riter and Prevost awaits the completion of autopsy and lab reports.
