OPPO Philippines has added an online-exclusive variant of one of its newest A series phones to its stable of devices.
The OPPO A54 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage is now up for pre-purchase at a discounted price at the company’s official stores on Lazada and Shopee. Preorder ends until May 25, so you still have time to get it for only P8,999, or roughly $188. That’s P1,000 ($21) less than the smartphone’s regular price of P9,999 ($209).
Recall that an OPPO A54 with lower RAM — 4GB, to be exact — became available in the country less than a month ago. The said model costs P9,499 ($198), so if we were you, we’d get the one with the higher memory configuration because the price difference is just P500 ($10), anyway.

The OPPO A54 boasts a 5,000mAh battery that should last you up to two days on a single charge. With the company’s 18-watt Fast Charge technology, charging the unit for 10 minutes should get you around 13% juice, enough to let you work on important tasks. Filling up the battery full from 0% should take a little over two hours.
The OPPO A54 also features a 13-megapixel main rear camera coupled with 2-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel bokeh or depth-sensing sensors; a 16-megapixel selfie shooter; a 6.51-inch display; a power key that doubles as a fingerprint reader; ColorOS 7.2; and a MediaTek Helio P35 chip.
“OPPO’s A series is designed to enhance or complement our users’ lifestyles, and the A54 achieves just this as it balances good performance with contemporary design,” said OPPO Philippines vice president for national sales Zen Han.
